New Applied Technology Efficiency and Lighting Initiative (NATELI II) with the support of  USAID and implemented by Winrock International announces a call for proposals for shooting/production of a documentary and invites experienced directors/producing companies to the contest.

Energy Bus travelled to Khoni,Tskhaltubo, Zestaphoni & Bagdati districts in Imereti region from February 13 to March 8, 2012.

 

In frames of NATELI 2 Grants Program 20 applications have been selected for the next stage of consideration.

The Energy Bus continues traveling around Georgia. From December 19, 2011 to February 10, 2012 the Energy Bus visited Lanchkhuti district in Guria and Kutaisi, Vani and Samtredia in Imereti Region.

In the framework of NATELI II Energy Capacity Activity the project organized two seminars on Doctoral Programs in Energy and Electrical Engineering in the United States. The seminars were held on January 20, 2012 in Tbilisi at GTU and on January 25, 2012 in Kutaisi at Akaki Tsereteli State University.

The New Applied Technology Efficiency and Lighting Initiative (NATELI II), supported by USAID, and managed by Winrock International, is seeking applications for Energy Sector Issue grants.

The workshop on Energy Efficiency and the Use of Renewable Energy in Multi-Apartment Residential Buildings was held on December 8, 2011 in Tbilisi at the International School of Economics ISET. The goal of the workshop was to provide participants with the results of the activities of World Experience for Georgia (WEG) in the framework of NATELI 1 Project.

On the 6th of December, 2011 Rustavi 2 Chat-show “shua Dghe” was dedicated to energy efficiency topic. The host and the guests of the show explained the importance of home energy efficiency to Georgian Public during the 1 hour of the show. The guests of the show were Winrock Georgia Chief of the Party Inga Phkhaladze, Head of the energy efficiency center “Georgia” Giorgi Abulashvili and the GTU dean of power engineering and telecommunications faculty Gia Arabidze.
Fifty nations from around the world came to the energy city of Wels in Austria on November 25, 2011 to be honored for their outstanding achievements for the environment at the ENERGY GLOBE Gala. Among almost 1000 entries from 105 nations, the project “Energy Efficiency Program for Georgian Communities - Energy Bus Project” was selected by the ENERGY GLOBE Jury for the NATIONAL ENERGY GLOBE Award for the country of Georgia
On November 12, 2011 TV program “Vakho Sanaia’s Coverage” was dedicated to energy efficiency topics and activities of the NATELI I project.
The Vakho Sanaia’s Coverage is aired every Saturday on Georgian Public Broadcaster’s channel First TV. The one-hour program deals with events and breaking news taking place in Georgia and worldwide and holds live discussions in the studio.
