The Energy Bus (EB) project in Georgia was originally
launched in 2008 and supported through cooperation between British Petroleum
(BP), USAID, and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe
(OSCE).
After OSCE left the country, the EB project support has shifted to BP
and USAID’s NATELI-New Applied Technology, Efficiency and Lighting Initiative
project implemented by Winrock International. The Energy
Efficiency Center (EEC) was subcontracted by both parties for renovation and
operation of the Energy Bus. The EEC is successfully running the Energy Bus
project since 2008.
